The Romanian athlete dominated the javelin and throw at the European Weightlifting Championships in Yerevan.
Loredana Toma lifted 110 kg in the deadlift and finished in first place, followed by Julia Miserendino (105 kg) and Lisa Marie Schweitzer (103 kg).
In metallic fashion, Toma took all the gold with 130 kg, although he missed the first attempt. Sarah Davis (126 kg) and Julia Miserendino (125 kg) took second place.
In the overall standings, Loredana Toma won with 250 kg, and the podium was completed by Julia Miserendino (230 kg) and Sarah Davis (226 kg).
For an athlete from Romania, this is the fifth triple gold at the European Championships after Split (2017), Bucharest (2018), Batumi (2019) and Moscow (2021).
Thus, at the European Weightlifting Championship in Yerevan, Romania has 14 medals: 9 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze.
