The Romanian coach has ten trophies won in the Persian Gulf area, out of a total of 14.
His performances have been noticed by the UAE Federation, who have put him at the top of coach Rodolfo Arruabarrena’s replacement list.
“Cosmin Olerou is one of the most important candidates for the position of the United Arab Emirates national team selector in the list compiled by the Football Federation,” announced Al-Ittihad Sports.
