Ronnie O’Sullivan says that he is additionally motivated by criticism from opponents

Hossein Vafai made a number of statements against Ronnie. The 28-year-old Iranian, among other things, expressed the opinion that at the moment O’Sullivan is doing more harm than good to snooker and that it would be better if he refused.

While in the Eurosport studios after his success with Junxiu, Ronnie learned that he could even face Wafaea in the second round.

At the mention of the Iranian asking him to withdraw, the 47-year-old O’Sullivan said that such criticism from his opponents motivates him greatly.

“What did he say about me, I don’t remember?” Ronnie said first. After being told what Hossain had said, the Englishman added.

“He said a lot about me this year. I think he learned to keep quiet. I like it when somebody criticizes me, when I get fired upon. I just love it. lead me

I need something like this, hopefully someone will say something so I have an extra reason to perform. But I don’t think they will say anything now because they must have realized that this is not a good tactic with me. We’ll see, but we’re going to have some fun.” – Ronnie O’Sullivan,on Eurosport.
