Genoa beat Perugia to move into second place in Serie B

The team coached by Alberto Gilardino played another good game in front of their own fans.

Genoa won their sixth straight at home. This time the victim was the Perugia team, which did not make a single shot on goal.

Dane Morten Frendrup opened the scoring for the home team in the 41st minute of the game from Sabella’s pass.

In the second half, defender Radu Dragushin, acquired permanently by Juventus, came out again.

The 21-year-old Romanian extended the home team’s lead in the 70th minute to make it 4 seasons for Genoa, equaling George Puskas.

Thanks to this victory, “Genoa” moved from 3rd place by 7 points and became one step closer to direct exit to Serie A.

Genoa also moved 3 points behind leaders Frosinone.
