Kaia Juwan defeated Jacqueline Christian in the Billie Jean King Cup

Although Romania was 2-0 after yesterday’s victories, Ana Bohdan and Jacqueline Christian lost their matches on Saturday.

Jacqueline Christian (180 WTA) could not overcome Kaya Juvan (121 WTA) and was defeated in one hour and 16 minutes at the end of the two-set match.

The athlete from Romania lost the first set quite decisively. For this, the opponent needed only two games.

In the second set, the match was much more even, but even so, Jacqueline Christian did not win the match and lost her second match of the day to the Romanian.

Thus, the decisive match will be the doubles match between Pia Lovrych – Nina Potochnyk and Iryna Bara – Monica Niculescu.
