The American did not give many chances to the Greek, who without problems passed in the quarters of the Chilean Nicolas Jarry, after 6-3, 6-4.

Stephanos Tsitsipas, ranked third in the world, has won the last two Monte Carlo tournaments.

The game lasted only one hour and 12 minutes.

In the semi-finals, Taylor Fritz (10 ATP) will meet Russian Andriy Rublev (6 ATP), who beat German Jan-Lennard Struff 6-1, 7-6(5) in the quarter-finals.

The Monte Carlo Masters takes place from April 9 to 16 on clay, has a total prize pool of €5,779,335, with Novak Djokovic as the top favorite and Stefanos Tsitsipas the champion of the last two tournaments.
