33-year-old Irish driver Craig Breen died on Thursday in an accident during testing at the Croatian Rally, where he was driving for the Hyundai Motorsport team.

The accident happened near Lobor, north of Zagreb, RMC Sport reports.

Craig Breen’s co-pilot, James Fulton, was unharmed.

According to local media, the vehicle was on a county road when it left the road and collided with a wooden post.

The Croatian Rally, the fourth stage of the World Rally Championship, will take place on April 23, writes News.ro.
