The accident happened near Lobor, north of Zagreb, RMC Sport reports.
Craig Breen’s co-pilot, James Fulton, was unharmed.
According to local media, the vehicle was on a county road when it left the road and collided with a wooden post.
The Croatian Rally, the fourth stage of the World Rally Championship, will take place on April 23, writes News.ro.
