
Norway’s Kasper Ruud (5 ATP) won the ATP Finals in Estoril, Portugal on Sunday, beating Serbia’s Miomir Kecsmanovic in straight sets 6-2, 7-6(3).

The main favorite of the tournament, Kasper Ruud, did not have too much emotion in front of the Serb, who is ranked 40th in the world.
After a game that lasted one hour and 49 minutes, the Norwegian won his tenth career title.
If the first set was authoritatively controlled by Ruud, then in the second Kecsmanovic was more concrete, but in the tiebreak he lost three services, and the 5th racket of the world took full advantage.
Estoril Open 2023 was held from April 3 to 9 on outdoor clay and is part of the ATP 250 category. The total prize money of the tournament is 562,815 euros, and the absolute champion was Sebastian Baez of Argentina.
