Ons Jaber qualified for the finals of the “WTA 500” tournament in Charleston for the second year in a row, the Tunisian won in two sets against the Russian Daria Kasatkina.

Jaber, the second seed in the US, took one hour and 48 minutes to get past Kasatkina (3 seed, 2017 champion), 7-5, 7-5.

Ons will compete for the trophy with the winner American Jessica Pegula (main favorite) and Swiss Belinda Bencic (4).

The match between Pegula and Bencic was interrupted due to rain with a score of 5-7, 6-6(4-2). The match will continue on Sunday, when the final will take place.
