Emmanuel Yeboa wants to become the best striker in the history of football

Yeboah (1.88m) hails from the small town of Douaio, Nkwanta has been compared to Didier Drogba or Victor Osimhen and claims Robert Lewandowski and Asamoah Can as his idols.

“I like their style and I always wanted to score. That’s why I build my game around them, because they scored a lot” – Emmanuel Yeboa for Ghana Soccer Net.

At the age of 20, Emmanuel talked about how difficult it was to play in Ghana’s second division (he played for the Young Apostles) and how much his move to CFR Cluj meant to him.

“It’s very difficult to play in Division 1, Zone 1. It’s total chaos. It’s tough on and off the field. Imagine you met someone in town after a game, and because you scored on his or her team, they started arguing with you. No chance there.

But it made me who I am, it’s different from what I see in Cluj. Here you have the freedom to do what you want, you are treated like a professional and everything is up to you, but in Young Apostles you have to fight and that is why I am who I am now.

When I heard that I was going to sign a contract with CFR Cluj, I couldn’t sleep. It was not easy for me because I wanted to go to Europe and play for a big club, but the dream does not end there, I want to finish like Victor Osimen, I want to become the best striker in the history of football.” – Emmanuel Yeboa.

This season Yeboa scored three goals and provided three crucial assists in 40 matches played for CFR Cluj.
