Elina Svitolina was defeated by Yulia Putintseva at the WTA Charleston tournament

Left without a position in the world rankings (not played since March 24, 2022), Svitolina played quite well against Yulia Putintseva (47 WTA), won the first set on a tiebreak, 7-6(3), but finally lost after two hours and 47 minutes of play: 6-2, 6-4.
