Al Hilal offer Sergio Ramos 30 million euros a year

In the case of the captain of the national team of Argentina, negotiations on the extension of the contract are ongoing, although the management of the club has reasons for pessimism, writes AS.com.

The club have yet to offer Sergio Ramos an extension and any talks have been postponed until the end of the current season. However, the Andalusian defender has an offer from Saudi Arabia that is hard to turn down.

Al-Hilal have offered him an initial two-year deal with a net salary of €30m per season, but it could go as high as €50 if there are tougher negotiations.

The Arab country is trying to attract more and more stars to give football more visibility, as it has already done with the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Despite being part of Galtier’s squad, Ramos is on a monthly salary in Paris of €791,000 and the club would not rule out a lower offer if he were to extend.

Even if he were to earn four times as much at Al Hilal, the Spanish defender is still undecided.
