Benjamin Pawar, author of a jewel for the French

Didier Deschamps’ side secured their second win on their way to Euro 2024 and are currently without conceding a goal.

The Blues authoritatively dominated the first half and wasted great opportunities to open the scoring.

Antoine Griezmann came closest to taking the goal when at one stage he disappointingly followed up with a penalty kick.

In the second half, the vice-champion of the world continued to put pressure on Bazuna’s goal, and the goal came from where the guests least expected.

Benjamin Pawar took a powerful shot from outside the penalty area and his effort hit the crossbar and into the net (50 min).

Moussa Diaby came close to doubling the French lead, but the home goalkeeper made a fantastic save to keep the score at 1-0.
