Robert Lewandowski asks for reinforcements at Barcelona – Team disappointed in UEFA Champions League groups

Robert Lewandowski has not scored for Barcelona since February 23, following the duel with Manchester United, and the Polish forward has higher expectations for next season at Camp Nou.

At 34, Lewandowski is likely to start against Real Madrid (March 19) and the striker will be hoping to score against their big rivals.

In an interview with ESPN, Robert Lewandowski talked about the disappointment of this season, but also asked for reinforcements for next season.

“We had problems in the Champions League this season and we have to fix that. It takes time, it is impossible to change something in football in a week or a month.

I always wanted to play in La Liga. I knew Barcelona had a lot of problems, but I saw what they wanted and I thought I could play a part in that. I saw the challenge and told myself I was ready for it.

I’m 34, but that’s just a number. I know I can perform at a high level for a few more years. I don’t know exactly how much, but mental is more important than physical.” – he declared.

After 25 games, Barcelona have a 9-point lead over Real Madrid and can extend their lead to 12 points if they win at Camp Nou.

The Barcelona vs Real Madrid match is scheduled for March 19 at 10:00 p.m. and will be broadcast live on Digi Sport 1, Orange Sport and Prima Sport 1.
