​Emma Reducanu achieved one of her best results in Indian Wells after triumphing at the 2021 US Open, but the Brit stopped in the last 16, losing to Iza Sviatek.

The leader of the WTA hierarchy needed an hour and 24 minutes to overcome Emma (77 WTA), the score 6-3, 6-1.

Next for Svientek is a match with Sorana Kirstea, after our athlete unexpectedly eliminated Caroline Garcia (the 5th favorite, winner of the Tournament of Champions).
