In the 18th round of the Second League, “Buzeu” beat “Uniri Slobozia” at home with a score of 3:1. The final round will determine the last three teams to qualify for the playoffs, with five teams in the race.

Adrian Mikhalch’s wards opened the scoring in the 11th minute thanks to Angelov and increased the advantage thanks to Valentin Alexander, who converted a penalty in the 17th minute.

Before the break, the score was 3-0 after Gaitan’s success in the 44th minute. Unirya Slobozia reduced the difference thanks to Gabriel Lazar in the 62nd minute.

Before the last stage of the regular season, five teams hope to reach the playoffs. If CSA Steaua, Poli Iași and Ocelul Galați have already qualified, Unirea Dej, Unirea Slobozia, Dinamo, FC Buzău and Concordia Chiajna are separated by only two points in the ranking and are waiting for the final stage to grab a place in the top six.
