Manchester United suffered their first defeat in the Premier League since the end of January. Eric ten Haag’s men beat Liverpool (7:0), this is the fourth defeat with a difference of 7 goals in the history of the club.

With no important absences, Erik ten Heg’s side had a disappointing performance at Anfield where they lost emphatically to rivals Liverpool.

Although the first half was aimed at a 0-0 draw, Cody Gakpo opened the scoring for the home side (43rd minute) with a superb pass from Andy Robertson.

Immediately after the break, the cormorants scored twice within 5 minutes.

First, Darwin Nunes made the score 2:0 (min. 47), and 3 minutes later, Cody Gakpo scored a double after an assist from Mohamed Salah (min. 50).

The nightmare night for the Red Devils continued when Mohamed Salah made it 4-0 in the 66th minute with a superb strike.

A quarter of an hour before the end, Darwin Nunes made a double and achieved 8 successes in the current season.

In the 83rd minute, Mohamed Salah made it 6:0, and Bobby Firmino completed the magical evening for the Cormorants with the 7th goal (88th minute).

Thanks to this result, “Liverpool” enters the Top 5 instead of the UEFA Europa League. “Manchester United” remains in 3rd place.

This is the third time in Manchester United’s history that the Devils have scored 7 goals.
