Djokovic: Medvedev makes unforced errors better than anyone

After a perfect 15-0 (with two titles – in Acapulco and the Australian Open), Jokerul was defeated in two sets, 6-4, 6-4, by Daniil Medvedev.

The Serb explained the difference against the former ATP leader.

“We lost to a better opponent. I know that I played badly in some crucial moments, but it was also thanks to the quality of Danilo’s tennis.

Unfortunately I made a lot of unforced errors in the first set, I also broke him in the second set. This is tennis, you learn from mistakes and defeats. I hope next time will be better” – Novak Djokovic.

“He draws and causes unforced errors from everyone, that’s his game, that’s what he does. He does it extremely well.

He is very patient, he is very athletic. He moves fantastically for his height (1.98 meters). Also, the backhand is one of the most consistent shots,” he added Nole.

“I have a lot of positive moments (not after participating in ATP Dubai). The way I feel all week makes me very happy with the current state of my body. I am very happy and ready to move on to the next challenge,” concluded the ATP leader.
