Rezvan Marin can reach Fiorentina – the Romanian will replace Sofian Amrabat in the Serie A team

Sofiane Amrabat, a player who impressed at the 2022 World Cup for Morocco, is close to leaving Fiorentina after being heavily courted by FC Barcelona over the winter.

The Viola are already looking for a replacement for the Moroccan, with Italians calciomercato.com reporting that Rezvan Marin will be one of the team’s options for Artemio Franca.

Pietro Chiodi, Rezvan Marin’s agent, would visit the club’s headquarters in Florence on Friday, the quoted source said.

Rezvan Marin played in 24 matches this season for Empoli, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

He is on loan until the end of this season from Cagliari, but there is a good chance that he will even stay at Empoli if a move to Fiorentina does not happen.

Currently valued at €8 million according to Transfermarkt, Marin is also a mainstay in the Romanian national team.
