The sum is impressive, but it doesn’t even come close to the money collected by the winner of the Saudi Arabia Cup, the highest-grossing horse race in the world of sport.

The sum collected this year by equestrian competitions amounted to more than 188 million euros. From this amount, ten million euros went to the winner of the main race. The race lasted just two minutes, meaning the winner collected €4,686,250 per minute.
