The first day of March proves to be the most decisive for the Super League 2 championship, as today it will be known not only whether the action will resume after a month-long break, but also whether there will be events inside the minor league. In the planned B.D. SL2 (12.30), a committee of five (Rokakis – Chania, Paltoglu – Egaleo, Tsiolekas – Kallithea, Papadimitriou – Anagennisi Karditsa, Papakonstantinou – Niki Volou) created to seek financial resources, will inform the results of their contacts with the Deputy Minister of Sports and the Super League 1. A meeting with Lefteris Avgenakis took place yesterday afternoon. After it ended, the committee talked about the lack of information from the SL2 management and bad decisions, which is an example of the gap that exists between the teams in the category. It is emphasized that “the readiness of the state to stand aside as long as the agreed conditions are consistently met.”

It is reported that today’s council will present an aid plan that will reach 3.6 million euros, which corresponds to 150,000 euros (70,000 euros from a percentage of the rate, plus 80,000 euros from the sponsorship agreement with the SL1 contribution) for each of the 24 PAEs. In this case, it remains to be seen whether there will be a change in leadership in the league, since the main condition for paying money is the resignation of its current president, Leonidas Levtsakov. He himself, as he made clear in his statements, would only do so if the target of €5.1 million, as defined in the original IPO concerning the charge, is met. The possibility of a vote of no confidence in him is also visible, for which, however, a 3/4 majority is required. In the event that in today’s B.D. if one way or another a decision is made to restart, then most likely this will happen next Wednesday, March 8th. There will also be a new schedule with action-packed matches to make up for lost time and a championship that will end on May 28th.
