Florin Purece, 31, has now signed a six-month contract with an option to extend with Polish second-division side Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza.

Despite the talent with which he was endowed and with which he impressed even the “king” Hyke Hagi, Purese did not achieve proper performances.

During his career, Purese also played for Atlético Arad, Concordia Ciajna, Farul, Hapoel Raanana, Sepsi and Cluj. Also in 2009, he spent six months at Nottingham Forest, from where he returned to Romania, at UTA.

“He is the only true left attacking midfielder in Romanian football. I told him when he signed that I took him to make him a first-team player. With that in mind, I took him,” Hagi told Digi Sport in the summer of 2016.
