Modena – Genoa, spectacular draw in Serie B / George Puskas own goal

With Radu Dragushin and George Puskas in the starting line-up, Genoa managed just one point in their trip to Modena at the end of a match full of twists and turns.

Radu Dragushin, permanently transferred from Juventus, opened the scoring for the Griffins in only 6 minutes from Mattia Aram’s pass.

Forward “Modena” Luca Strizzoli in the 33rd minute equalized the score in the table, and also established the result of the first half.

George Puskas also scored in the second half, but into his own goal (min. 55).

Shady Uhadda was shown a red card (59 minutes) and the hosts remained in the lead.

With 5 minutes to go, Genoa restored the tie thanks to Mattia Bani’s goal.

In the 82nd minute, Denis Dragush also entered the field, but in the few minutes played, the Romanian forward did not have great achievements.

Thanks to this draw, Genoa have 43 points and remain in second place in Serie B, 12 points behind leaders Frosinone.
