A few hours after the cancellation of the 8.40m jump, which he did a few days ago in Torun, about Miltos Tedoglu again broke this year’s record with a jump of 8.41 m at the tournament in Leuven.
It is recalled that the Greek athlete may have broken this year’s record earlier, but his attempt was canceled due to… inappropriate shoes, at least according to the organizers.
Tedoglu “responded” today with a great race in Liven, where he completed jumps of 8.32m, 8.37m, 8.34m and 8.41m.
After his performance, SEGAS published a post about the new great success of the Greek athlete:
Scary!!!! 8.41 m, the fourth jump of Miltos Tedoglu, the best result in the world for 2023. The athlete had one of the best races of his life. #segas #Athletics #werunwejumpwethrow

Athlete Giorgos Pomaski entered the “hot” and started his jumps at 8.32 m, and in the second he “landed” at 8.37 m. In the third jump, the “golden” Olympian made 8.34 m, and the fourth attempt was enough to come out on top with a score of 8.41 m! The Greek athlete missed two other attempts, leaving Sweden’s Tobias Modler in second with 8.06m and American Marquis Dendy in third with 7.94m.
Today’s performance by Tedoğlu is his second best indoor performance after the 8.55m he achieved last year in Belgrade, breaking 8.40m which was a Panhellenic record.
