Since 2016, when Marcel Popescu (age 73) was appointed to the position, the Olten team has won the Romanian Cup (2018, 2021) and the Romanian Super Cup (2021).
Popescu was the president of the University of Craiova in 1991, when the group from Bani succeeded in this event.
