ChFR Cluj will travel to Banje on February 11, where they will meet the University of Craiova in the 25th round of the Super League.

The match will not be easy for the champion of Romania, who at the last stage lost to FCSB (1:0).

At Thursday’s press conference, Dan Petrescu also spoke about the game in the sixteenth round of the Conference League when he faces Lazio (February 16, 22:00).

The game will be held at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, but the coach of Transylvania believes that the real pressure will be on the shoulders of Maurizio Sarri.

“In the matches we’ve had this year, it couldn’t have been a tougher start, with Farul, Voluntari, FCSB, Craiova and Lazio.

It’s not easy, but if we hadn’t been good last year, we wouldn’t have reached this position. This is a match that a football player wants to play and a coach wants to be on the bench.

Extraordinary stadium, CFR has been several times, I have only been twice. It’s a match you want to play, I expect the players to give their all.

Until then, I only think about Craiova, I don’t even watch Lazio matches because it’s not fair.

The pressure is on Lazio, not us. We will play. I don’t think Stefan Radu would play. I would like to see him here.” – said Dan Petrescu, reports Digi Sport.

CFR Cluj and Lazio have met twice in their history in the 2019/20 UEFA Europa League groups.

Then the champion of Romania won the match in Gruia with a score of 2:1 and lost the match at Olimpico with a score of 1:0.

Then, CFR Cluj qualified for the European Spring from 2nd place, and Lazio was eliminated from the group stage.
