
The European Swimming League (LEN) has appointed Romania to host the FIFA World Cup on Monday, according to a statement from the Romanian Polo Federation.

From March 9 to 12, at the swimming sports complex in Otopeni, the Romanian senior national team will fight for a place in the Super Finals, with teams from Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Ukraine and Malta as opponents in Group B, reports Agerpres.
At the beginning of the year, LEN commissioned the Romanian Polo Federation to organize a qualifying tournament for the European Junior Championship among juniors under 17 years of age.
The tournament will be held at the Muresul Olympic Pool in Tirgu Mures from March 16 to 19. Romania’s national team is in Group C along with Switzerland, Moldova, Ireland and Ukraine.
The two best teams that will take a place in the group will go to the European Championship, which will be held in Manisa (Turkey) from August 8 to 15.
