Al Jazira scored an emphatic 6-1 home win against Persian Gulf Heroes in the round of 16 of the President’s Cup.

Back in the lineup, Florin Tenase opened the scoring in the 22nd second when he powerfully struck from the right wing under the crossbar.

The Romanian international scored a brace in the 60th minute, resuming play from the same position as the first goal, also from a cross on the edge of the penalty area.

It was the former FCSB player’s first start for the Emirates club’s first team this year after injury kept him out since November.
