“Milan” is further from “Napoli” – 4 matches without success in Serie A

With Cipriane Tetaroushanu starting, Milan opened the scoring in just the 8th minute through Olivier Giroud, but the Frenchman’s success was ruled out for offside.

After 3 minutes, Sassuolo was leading 2-0 thanks to goals scored by Gregoire Defrel (19th minute) and Davide Frattesi (22nd minute).

Olivier Giroud finally scored a real goal to close the gap (24 minutes), but after two assists, Domenico Berardi made it 3-1 a quarter of an hour before the break.

At the beginning of the second half, the situation at the San Siro became serious, and Sassuolo also scored the 4th goal, hitting from 11 meters (Arman Lauriente, min. 47).

Domenico Berardi provided another assist for the number 5, Mateus Enrique scored (min 79) and Divock Origi closed the scoring in the 81st minute.

It’s the fourth match without success FOR Milan in Serie A. The champions remain 12 points behind Napoli, who have a game in hand.

However, in the current state of affairs, the team’s achievable goal is to enter the Champions League, but even this is in danger.
