CSM Bucharest, Romania’s women’s handball runner-up, defeated SG Bietigheim 27-24 in the twelfth stage of Group A of the Champions League. Christina Nyagu reached 1000 goals scored in the competition.

As part of CSM, the main scorers were Aune 6 goals, Nyagu 5, Zaadi 4 and Najdzinavičius 5 scored for the hosts.

CSM have ten wins, one draw and one defeat in this edition of the Champions League, the team coached by Adrian Vasile has already made it to the quarter-finals of the competition.

Kristina Nyagu started the Champions League season as the 3rd all-time top scorer with 910 goals, behind Anita Horbic (1016 goals) and Jovanka Radičević (978). After 12 stages, Nyagu reached the mark of 1000 goals.
