The poor “Panathinaikos” of the first half “woke up” in the replay through the defense of the third period, but … collapsed in the last seven minutes of the match with “Virtus”, returning to negative results in the Euroleague.

The Greens were defeated 74–64 by the Italians in Bologna in Game 20, reducing their record to 7–13. On the contrary, Virtus returned to victory, improving their record to 9-11.

Panathinaikos responded in the third period by finding rhythm in offense thanks to his excellent defense which limited the Italians to 12 points in that period. In fact… at the end of the match and after a series of 0-6, he overtook 55-57 in the 33rd minute, followed by his… unconditional surrender. The team of Dejan Radonich “carried out” seven attacks in a row, to which the Italians responded with a series of 14: 0, 69: 57, 38 minutes, which “fixed” the victory.

Tornike Sengelia was the winners’ top scorer with 16 points, while Nate Walters stood out from Panathinaikos with 15 points.
