Karen and Jason were inseparable for 70 consecutive shots that lasted one minute and 37 seconds.

In the end, the net said the hard word: it put an end to the exchange of balls, which could be continued.

The Russian advanced to the third round after winning in four sets, 6-4, 5-7, 6-4, 6-2. The game lasted two hours and 55 minutes.

In the next match, Khachanova will meet Frances Tiafoe (16th favorite).
