The Romanian champions drew 2-2 with FC Heidenheim in their final training camp fixture in Spain and will return to the country on Tuesday for the resumption of the Super League.

Dan Petrescu’s wards took the lead in the 26th minute, after newcomer Bohdan Tiru deflected the ball into his own goal. The equalizer was achieved in the 57th minute after a corner taken by Ciprian Deak and returned to the goal by defender Yuri.

Young put CFR Cluj ahead in the 80th minute after a pass from the same Deak, but Heidenheim, who are 3rd in Germany’s second division, equalized four minutes later through Tomalla.

Dan Petrescu started with this formula: Scuffet, Manea, Thiru, Youri, Bourque, Brown, Muhar, Boateng, Deak, Yeboa, Birlighea.

“Cluj” football players finish the training camp in Oliva-Nova in Spain with a win, two draws and a loss and will return to Romania on Tuesday.

On Monday, January 23, at 21:00, ChFR will meet the leader Farul away in the 22nd stage of the Super League.
