Olimpiu Morutan, signed by Pisa from Galatasaray last summer, scored again in the 20th round of Serie B in his side’s 2-1 defeat by Cittadella.

Morutan scores again but Pisa lose

In the 60th minute, when the visitors were already leading with a score of 2:0, Morutan received a pass on the edge of the square and, gaining speed, perfectly deflected the ball under the opponent’s goal post.

The midfielder received a 7 from the Italian press who praised him for another exceptional performance. Also in the starting lineup was Marius Marin, who left the field in the 69th minute.

After 20 rounds, “Pisa” ranks fifth in the Italian Serie B standings with 29 points.
