In the early 2000s, Tibor Moldovan (age 40) was heralded as one of the most promising Romanian strikers, but his career did not go as planned.

Born in Tirgu Mures, the Moldovan played for Rapida’s youth team, but was sent off after stealing one of his teammates with another colleague. Actually, this event was not a unit, but a way of life for the former teenage forward.

In 2004, the Moldovan was called by Angel Iordanescu to the Romania B national team for a training tour in Cyprus. He then signed a contract with “Dynamo”, but his dream of playing for Stefan the Great could be destroyed even before it started.
