The authorities of the United States of America have reinstated the requirement for travel with the condition of vaccination against Covid-19 for foreigners who do not have US citizenship.
The measure is in effect until at least April 10, 2023, meaning that if the Serbian player remains unvaccinated, he will miss the Indian Wells and Miami tournaments for another year.
The former world number one also missed the 2022 US Open.
The tournament in Indian Wells will be held from March 6 to 19, 2023, and the tournament in Miami will be held from March 19 to April 2.
Bucking trends elsewhere, US travel authorities have reinstated the requirement for non-citizens to be vaccinated until at least April 10, 2023.
