Barcelona and Chelsea, in the footsteps of Yusufa Mukoko
At just 18, Yusufah Mukoko was part of the German national soccer team that participated in the World Cup in Qatar.
He played just one minute in that final tournament, being introduced at the end of the game against Japan, which the Germans lost 2–1.
Mukoko has six months left on his contract with Borussia Dortmund, and the Daily Mail reports that the player has already turned down several offers to extend his contract.
The German rejected a salary offer of 5.3 million pounds per year, and the quoted source writes that the young footballer wants to earn at least 6 million pounds per year.
Both Chelsea and Barcelona are interested in signing the 18-year-old German international, who is currently Borussia Dortmund’s top scorer in the Bundesliga with 6 goals and 3 assists this season.
#Chelsea began negotiations with representatives of Borussia Dortmund Youssoufa Mukoko regarding the possibility of a free transfer next summer. They want to sign him to a five-year contract with an option for another year.
