Friday night, the daughter of the world football legend posted a photo of herself sitting with her 82-year-old father in his hospital bed in Sao Paulo.

“We are still here in the struggle and in the faith. One more night together,” daughter Pele, who is struggling with cancer, wrote on Instagram.

Shortly before this announcement, Pele’s two daughters, Kelly Nascimento and Flavia Arantes, announced on their Instagram accounts that their father would be spending Christmas in the hospital.

Last Sunday, Kelly posted a photo of Flavia massaging their father’s left leg while he watched the World Cup final on TV.
