​Iran crashed out of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in dramatic fashion at the group stage, with Carlos Queiroz’s team losing a decisive match to the USA (1-0). At the end of the match against the Americans, the Iranians were destroyed, as evidenced by the footage shot on the spot.

They had the courage to protest at the 2022 World Cup: England did not sing the national anthem at the match

In the debut match at the World Cup in Qatar (2-6 against England), Iran’s football players had the courage not to sing the national anthem, which was a signal of support for the uprisings in the country.

Iran have crashed out of the 2022 World Cup and footage from the end of the game against the USA showed Carlos Queiroz’s men left devastated by the defeat.

Some players cried, while others could not get off the field.

They had the courage to protest against the system in Tehran and now they can expect the worst for themselves and their families when they return to Iran.
