In the third round of the second group of the World Cup, England beat Wales 3-0. Southgate’s team topped the group and will play Senegal in the round of 16 on 4 December.

England had their first good moment in 10th place. minute when Rushford ran into Ward, but the Welsh goalkeeper kept his clean sheet. Southgate players were in possession of the ball looking for a goal with static phases.

England opened the scoring in the 50th minute after a direct free kick from Rashford. Before the celebrations died down, Southgate’s team scored a second goal with Foden assisting Kane.

Rob Page’s team couldn’t threaten. England scored a third thanks to Rashford in 68th. minute with a stunning move by the Manchester United striker.

Usually the guests did not stop. Southgate players came close to scoring in ’72 and 77th minute, thin.

The pace of the game dropped noticeably in the last quarter. The Welshman tried to score a goal of honor, but to no avail.
