According to the cited source, Agnelli was joined by deputy Pawel Nedved, CEO Maurizio Arrivabene, and board members Lawrence Debru, Massimo Della Ragione, Catherine Fink, Daniela Marilungo, Francesco Roncaglio, Giorgio Taccia and Suzanne Caywood.

The decision was taken at the suggestion of President Agnelli and is the result of the club’s participation in the Prisma investigation opened by the prosecutor’s office in Turin.

The 2021/22 season was disastrous for the “Old Signora”, which recorded a loss of 254.3 million euros.

The Turin group would have misrepresented financial losses for the period 2018-2020, the authorities would investigate the amount related to player sales, as well as certain “wage manoeuvres”.

On October 25, the club issued a statement denying any wrongdoing: “Juventus remains confident that it has acted in accordance with the laws governing the preparation of financial statements, in accordance with accounting principles and international practice in the football industry.”

A statement published on the club’s official website on Monday said the board had received “new legal and accounting opinions” from independent experts tasked with assessing “critical issues”.
