
Glasgow Rangers have announced the appointment of Michael Beale as head coach. The manager left QPR to take the place left vacant by Giovanni van Bronckhorst, who was sacked last week.

“It’s fantastic to be back and see everyone again. I’m extremely proud, it’s a great club, it’s a huge privilege to coach such a special club,” Beal said, according to The Guardian.
Rangers are 2nd in the Scottish Premier League, 9 points behind leaders Celtic.
