Canada’s victory and entry to the finals of the Davis Cup

In singles Lorenzo Sonego (45 ATP) needed more than 3 hours to win his match against Denis Shapovalov (18 ATP), the match was decided in a decisive set, the score 7-6 (6-4), 6-7 (5-7) and 6-4.

In the second match of the day, Felix Auger-Aliassime (6 ATP) easily defeated Lorenzo Musetti in a game that lasted one hour and 26 minutes (6-3, 6-4).

Canada’s doubles team (Felix Auger-Aliasime and Vasek Pospishil) needed just over 2 hours of play to book their place in the Davis Cup final after defeating Italy (Matteo Berrentini and Fabio Fognini), 7-6 (7-2 ) and 7 -5 (7-4).

In the last act of the competition, the Australian national team will be waiting, which knocked Croatia out of the way to the final with an aggregate score of 2-1.
