World Cup 2022: Poland beat Saudi Arabia to qualify

Poland beat Saudi Arabia 2-0 to advance to the third group of the World Cup. Mikhnievich’s team scored 4 points and still hopes to reach the playoffs.

The match had an impressive pace with many phases, goalposts and missed penalties for Saudi Arabia. Robert Lewandowski scored his first goal in a World Cup final.

Both teams entered the field in high spirits. Usually the guests had the first big phase in the 13th minute, thin. Abdulhamid passed to Kano, the latter crossed, but Sezni was on hand and filed for a corner.

The Poles scored two goals with Milik (63′) and Lewandowski (66′) with the remaining score 1:0. Saudi Arabia came close to scoring Al-Makli in the 78th minute, but his attempt went wide.

In the 82nd minute, Lewandowski took advantage of a mistake in the opponent’s defense, entered the penalty area and successfully scored 2-0. It was the first goal of the Barcelona striker in the final stage of the World Cup.

The experienced Polish footballer missed another good moment in the 90th minute. In the sixth minute of added time, Cano struck, but the ball went wide.
