Despite being a consistent performer for AC Milan of late following Mike Megnano’s injury, Cipriani Tetarushanu will leave the Italian side at the end of this season when his contract expires.
Milan want Marco Sportiello from Atalanta
As in the case of Teterushanu, the contract with the third goalkeeper of the group, Antonio Mirante, expires at the end of the season. Milan quickly turned to Atalanta’s Marco Sportiello, who is also out of contract in June 2023, according to Daily Milan.
Sportiello, 30, who has been a die-hard AC Milan fan since childhood, has a clause that allows the club to automatically extend his contract if he plays a certain number of games this season. As he is Juan Musso’s understudy, Atalanta will let him go next summer.
According to the Italian press, Teterushanu could still stay in Serie A as Empoli want him.
