After his success in the first match against Stefanos Tsitsipas (6-4, 7-6), Nole also ignored Rublev, even if the Russian came in good spirits after defeating his compatriot Daniil Medvedev.

The first set was quite tight, but the Serb managed to pull away, winning the game on her opponent’s serve, the game that decided the first set.

In the second act, Djokovic’s aggressiveness pushed Rublev to the defensive, and in the end the Serb won, making several effective aces. Rublev was unable to cope with the flurry of strikes from Nole, who achieved his second consecutive success at the Tournament of Champions.
