Christopher Nkunku will miss the 2022 World Cup in Qatar due to injury

Striker Christopher Nkunku (RB Leipzig) is out of action for the final tournament, which starts on November 20.

Nkunku was injured in one of the training sessions, it was a sprained left knee.

France have notified FIFA of the player’s injury and Didier Deschamps is expected to name a replacement.

According to L’Equipe, it will be Randal Colo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Kokosului Galich national team is missing Paul Pogba and N’Golo Kante, who were injured in October.

France are in Group D at the World Cup in Qatar alongside Australia, Denmark and Tunisia.
