Luiz Felipe Scolari ends his coaching career at the age of 74

At the age of 74, Scolari has announced that he will no longer coach any team after parting ways with Atlético Paranaense.

The coach’s last match was a 3-0 win against Botafogo.

With Scolari on the technical bench, the Selecao won the highest title at the World Cup held by Japan and South Korea (2002) after defeating Germany (2-0) in the final.

Luiz Felipe Scolari will remain in the mechanism of Atlético Paranaense, he will take the position of technical director.

In addition to the 2002 title, Scolari also won the 2013 Confederations Cup with the Seleção.

At club level, Scolari won the Copa Libertadores twice (1995 and 1999) and won two Brazilian championships with Gremio (1996) and Palmeiras (2018).

During his career, Scolari also coached the national team of Portugal (2003-2008) and Chelsea (2008-2009).
