Midfielder Giovanni Lo Celso (Villarreal) and striker Angel Correa (Atletico Madrid) have the most absences.

Scaloni has Paulo Dybala (Juventus) on the list, who is uncertain due to the injury he suffered in early October.

At the 2022 World Cup, Argentina is in Group C along with Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Poland.
