Although the Montenegrin national team had already advanced, Poland could not resist and lost with a score of 23-26.

The Spanish national team, incredible calculations in the main group at EURO-2022

Spain and Germany finished the day at the European Handball Championship on Wednesday, and the Iberians surprised everyone with a careful calculation to help the opposition to the main group, knocking out Poland in the process. The main interest was obviously for Spain to get into the group with two points, which worked out well for Furia Roja.

Qualifying takes into account the results with the other two qualified teams, and Poland beat Spain.

The girls, led by Jose Ignacio Prades, missed on purpose and allowed Germany to get close to only two goals, after which the Iberians effectively refused to attack the opponent’s goal.

The match finished 23-21 in Spain’s favor and Poland went home on goal difference, with Germany and Spain finishing in Main Group II with zero and two points respectively. This group will also include France, Montenegro, the Netherlands and Romania.

Spain’s plan was so obvious that one player cheered at 59:28 when her team conceded a goal.
